This Directorate deals with all matters relating to Bilateral and multi-dimension institutions and some of its Agencies such as, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Kuwait Fund, the Muslim World League, the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The Directorate manages and maintains diplomatic contacts with Asia and Middle East countries and coordinate the efficient functioning of diplomatic missions assigned to those countries. It also directs Sierra Leone’s Foreign Policy with Asia and the Middle Eastern countries in a range of areas.
