The Consular unit provides quality services to the general public, the executive, legislative and judicial arms of Government. It also extends its service to members of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps and International Organization accredited to the Republic of Sierra Leone.

• The Consular Unit facilitates the issuance of service and Diplomatic Passports to eligible Government Officials.
• Facilitates the issuance of official visas request by central and local Government officials.
• Facilitates the issuance of visas arrival and resident permits to members of the Diplomatic Community accredited to Sierra Leone.
• Authenticates Official documents issued by the competent authorities in Sierra Leone.
